Molly Fox is a journalist, documentary & fiction filmmaker, photographer, and writer. Her passion for storytelling has led her exploration through dozens of mediums, techniques, and formats of digital storytelling. Through her education and career opportunities, she has gained valuable career experience as a photojournalism editor, filmmaker, videographer, editor, photographer, and strategic communication & marketing specialist. She has a particular passions for filmmaking as well as community journalism.
Molly earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Missouri, emphasizing in photojournalism and documentary at the Jonathon B. Murray Center for Documentary Film. She also completed a Bachelor's degree in film production, and a minor in digital storytelling.
Molly currently serves as the Assistant Director of Photography at the Columbia Missourian, the local newspaper in Columbia, Missouri, as well as the Boone County Journal, the partner newspaper serving the small towns of Hartsburg and Ashland, Missouri. She had previously served as a photo editor and photographer at the Missourian.
